  • In person

There are times for everyone when our usual ways of coping don't seem to be enough. You don't have to feel alone when life feels challenging or overwhelming.

I offer a confidential, warm and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, valued and accepted for who you are. It takes courage to seek support. We work together, at your pace, towards the positive changes you want to make.

How I work

I am a fully qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I trained as a humanistic integrative counsellor, so I can tailor how we work to your needs. My practice rests on person-centred principles of respect, empathy, warmth and authenticity, and I also use tools from CBT, mindfulness and creative approaches.

Background

Before training as a therapist I worked in the voluntary sector, social services and education, supporting vulnerable adults and children. I have also counselled with a baby-loss charity, in a GP practice and with 16 to 18-year-olds.
