I have worked in the NHS for more than fifteen years across a range of clinical psychology settings, with individuals of all ages, couples, families and groups, including roles in neuropsychology and in child, adolescent and adult services.

In my private practice I offer psychological therapy to individuals of all ages. I specialise in working with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and overwhelming emotions, and I have specialist training in helping people recover from trauma.

I believe the way we make sense of ourselves, other people and the world is often shaped by past experiences, fears, and the strategies we have learned in order to feel safe. Seeking therapy can be hard, so I put real care into building a collaborative, empathic relationship in which difficulties feel manageable.

What guides my work

I aim to help people understand their difficulties without blame or shame, and to learn new ways to improve their wellbeing and relationships. I value empathy, consistency and unconditional positive regard, and I work ethically, with evidence-based methods and cultural sensitivity.

As a clinical psychologist I am trained in a range of models, so therapy can be shaped around your needs and goals rather than a single technique.

Getting started

I offer a free, no-obligation 15-minute consultation to introduce ourselves, talk through what you would like help with and outline a way forward. Appointments are available throughout the week, online or face to face in Wimborne.

I hold a current DBS certificate, am fully insured and am registered with the ICO.
